Ballooning in Italy
Tuscany
Tuscany is one of the main ballooning areas in Italy. There can be no better place to fall in love with ballooning than in Tuscany. Rolling hills and fantastic scenery awaits.
Hot air ballooning arrived in Tuscany about 20 years ago, and since then the numbers of ballooning clubs and associations offering balloon rides has increased year by year.
Principal locations in the Chianti region, running from north to south are Tavarnelle/Florence, Colle Val d'Elsa, Siena and Pienza.
